#23 Is this really the end or the beginning

AstroK hopes its the beginning I think Psychiksoda hopes its the end. I have spent a huge number of hours on this getting sidetracked and discovering heaps of stuff. Psychiksoda is missing the lap time and reading time Sorry Soda

While I know there are some things I didnt grasp and think why would I want to use that its good to know because someone may talk about it or want to know something and hopefully these adventures Ive had will pop into my mind.

I would like to see this continue now that its started maybe not so intensely but perhaps one new discovery a month giving everyone heaps of time to progress.

I feel sorry for those who have had to progress only by using work computers as the library systems are often slow and the downloads and "U tube" type presentations didnt work in the library.

I have definitely got my value out of broadband since I started this project.

I was a late starter thinking as a casual I didnt really want to do this but curiosity got the better of me and I'm so glad I made the effort.

I wasnt born into technology and computers, I didnt really have them in my life until after I had a family and went back to work part time. So sometimes I feel the kids have such an advantage over me, but often my life skills kick in, one outweighs the other.

In summary, when I started bloglines I thought no way I dont need this but near the end I ended up signing up and adding blogs.

I liked the idea of del.icio.us and Library Thing but havent ventured back to them since completing the modules.

Loved You tube for entertainment value Also spent hours playing with lastfm

Will definitely recommend Zoho writer to library patrons without personal computers.

Was aware of Wikipedia and used it often but learnt more about it and Wikis as well

Definitely expanded my knowledge of Google and will recommend Googles many features.

Already loved podcasts from ASX but loved the simple podcasts and videos for training through this program. Working in libraries on computers its nice to have someone talk to you and watch a video rather than have to read I loved the KISS (keep it simple stupid) presentations.

Last but not least I loved the idea of Overdrive I always thought it hard to read computer screens especially being brought up in a reading left to right generation where today the kids can read information all over the screen.

But after viewing the presentation of the Amazon Kindle, I just want one , please Santa, Im sure Ive been good?!

check out ASTROSTUFF for my links and also please have a go @ my survey be4 you say goodbye.

Id like to thank everyone involved in making this progam and hope there is more to come in the future.
