OK this morning Astrok started searching for a few things that Stephen Abram mentioned in his mammoth talk.
Found "library dominoes" on you tube and be4 I knew it I had signed up and saved a couple of domino videos. (So much for waiting for the lesson which I still havent reached yet. Am off @ a tangent, but hey Soda its all learning, right?
He also mentioned college life by google so did a search for that, interesting, but also stumbled across
Google Scholar
so played with that and am thinking its a lot quicker and easier than logging into and finding the right library database through our e library resources.
Im thinking of referring patrons to it
Nobody has time to wait and if you dont find what you want in a couple of clicks you get frustrated and look elsewhere.
Thinking out loud here, Soda, Id like to know what other people think of Google Scholar,
anybody willing to comment?
